Your first encounter as a dental patient at Distinctive Dentistry is similar to a "meet and greet" session. Based on a thorough discussion of your wants and needs, a carefully thought out approach to meet your expectations will be presented. Once you have had time to consider our suggestions, a follow up appointment can be made at your convenience to initiate the care that you have chosen.

Distinctive Dentistry is a special place, uniquely designed to promote feelings of tranquility and serenity the moment you step through our door. A boutique setting with all the bells and whistles of state of the art dentistry, we offer heated neck support pillows, warm towels, aroma therapy and a ceiling mounted TV to promote a sense of calmness, freeing patients from anxieties that are sometimes associated with dental treatment.

State of the Art Equipment
We utilize digital imaging and digital radiography (x-rays) to minimize our patient's exposure to radiation by 90% in comparison to the conventional x-ray equipment. Digital radiographs provide quality images that make it possible to reduce the number of x-rays that we need. Patients view the enlarged radiographs on the flat screen monitors so that communication with the dentist is more efficient. Oral cameras are also used to show before and after photos. We also offer a state of the art sterilization to ensure your safety.

Dr. Coseo is
from Yarmouth Port, MA. He has been practicing for over 35 years and is a member of the A.D.A. Massachusetts Dental Society and Cape Cod Dental Society. Celebrating our fifth year at our Boutique/State of the Art facility, Dr. Coseo enjoys all aspects of cosmetic and family Dentistry. He is well known for his kindness and compassion.
Dr. Coseo and his wife have been married for over 40 years and have one son who is married and lives in Venice, Florida. Dr. Coseo has an indoor housecat "Layla" who definitely rules the house.

I discovered my passion for work in the dental field 11 years ago when I desperately needed a change from working in retail for 23 years.
Assisting Dr. Coseo over the past 11 years has been a very rewarding and wonderful experience. I love helping patients feel comfortable.
The sense of kindness and compassion shown to our patients is quite unique. I love what I do and hope to make your experience with us pleasantly memorable.
I live in Brewster with my husband, Chuck. We've been married 32 years and have 3 adult children, Lindsay, 28, was married 2 years ago to her husband Christopher. They are new homeowners and reside in Springfield, MA. Lindsay is a Phlebotomist/Lab Technician and Christopher is a tile and flooring installer. Ryan, 26, is a new homeowner and lives in Hyannis, MA. He is an HVAC Technician. Megan, 23, lives at home (for now) graduating last year with a marketing degree; she is currently working in banking.

Elaine Madden
Dental Hygienist
Elaine Madden graduated from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in Boston. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Northeastern University and her Master's of Education from Bridgewater State College. She has over 30 years experience in general practice, periodontal and prosthodontic offices.
After working in private practice for many years, Elaine joined the faculty at Cape Cod Community College in 1985 and is currently the coordinator of the Dental Hygiene Program. She has been working with Team Coseo since 2007 and enjoys the wonderful collegiality of the Distinctive Dentistry practice.
Elaine has one son
who is currently attending Marquette University in Wisconsin. She enjoys gardening, cooking and laughing. She spends her spare time relaxing with friends and catching up with her reading.

Susan J. Dean
Dental Hygienist
Susan graduated #1 clinically from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She then furthered her education at Northeastern University graduating with a Baccalaureate Degree in Dental Heygiene. Susan believes keeping up to date with continuing education courses and keeping her patients informed are an important part of their overall health. Excellence in clinical dental care is part of what has kept her in this practice for so long.
Besides her Dental Hygiene career, Susan served as President of the Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts and presently works as a Real Estate Professional on Cape Cod.
Susan lives in Yarmouth Port with her husband Charlie, a retired Dentist. She has one daughter, Jennifer, who lives with her husband and two beautiful children in Foxboro. |
